SnapDance AI ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our application operates and how your information is handled when you use the app.

SnapDance AI is designed to help users animate their uploaded photos using AI generation. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not sell or track your personal data.

By using the app, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Information We Do Not Collect

To maximize your privacy, our app operates without accounts. We do NOT collect, store, or transmit the following:

• Names, email addresses, or phone numbers
• Passwords or authentication tokens
• Contacts or address books
• Location data

Photo and Video Processing

To provide our core functionality (turning a still photo into a dance video), the app requires access to your photo library to select an image or video.

• Local Selection: Browsing and selecting photos occurs locally on your device.
• Cloud Processing: When you choose to generate a dance video, your selected photo is securely transmitted to our AI provider (Replicate API) solely for the purpose of generating the animation.
• No Permanent Storage: We do not permanently store your photos or generated videos on our servers. Once the generation process is complete and the video is returned to your device, the source media is routinely discarded by our processing partners.

Face Data Handling

We temporarily store face data for a maximum of one hour so you can make additional edits to your photographs within the app without needing to upload them again.

• Retention: We do not retain face data or photographs after one hour. All face data is permanently deleted after this period.
• Purpose: Face data is stored only to support continued editing within the app and provide a smoother user experience.
• Third-Party Storage: We use Replicate for secure temporary storage and processing of face data during the one-hour editing session. Replicate does not retain or use the data beyond this period.
• Sharing: We share face data with Replicate solely to enable secure storage, processing, and encryption during the editing session.

Authentication and Accounts

SnapDance AI does not require user accounts or sign-ins. You can use the app's features anonymously.

Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services strictly to enable core AI functionality and ensure app stability:

• Replicate API: Used exclusively to process your uploaded graphic media and generate the final dance effect. Replicate does not use your images to identify you or train public models with your private data.

We do not share your data with advertisers, marketing analytics providers, or data brokers.

Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption practices to secure your photos during transit to and from the cloud processing APIs. Because your content is not permanently stored on our servers, your information and generated videos remain under your control on your personal device.

Children's Privacy

This app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
